I had pretty high expectations of this book, however, I was shocked to see "bleach" recommended in the book as well as ammonia. Though I'd highly recommend it to anyone with a cancer diagnosis because of the descriptions of alternative healing methods, it is also a heart-wrenching story of love and courage. Signs and hints of this wealth have been known for quite a while, and this must be added to all the strategic and geo-political concerns that have made it a global cauldron - with some of the earth's poorest, least comprehending people the usual victims of great power pride and righteousness.
