But I disagree with the first 2 reviews in their claims that the first half of Humbert's book is "dry and expository","methodical","a little too matter of fact", etc. This book is, ideally, read at a time of the readers own coming-of-age and the connections they are sure to draw with the characters reinforce the love for the novel.
